My Lupus journey started in my college years, 1999. I did years of testing before they properly diagnosed me with Lupus January 2013. Through this journey I was wrongly diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2011. Which my Liver, Kidneys, and Lungs shut down and forced me into congestive heart failure. I wore a wearable defibulator for 12 weeks, due to my heart not being at 100%. So basically, I have all new organs. This journey has not been easy, as the doctors told my mother to start planning my funeral. But God!!!! Today I am healthy and strong!
Your diagnosis is not a death sentence! Living a healthy life with lupus is very possible.
